I was ready to drop some cash on a new coat that would last a long time if it had the perfect fit. Oftentimes double breasted coats overpower my frame and seem to swallow me. Lucky for me this DKNY style was both stylish, form-fitting, and a great price. The hood is the part that takes this coat to the trendy side, but it's easily unzipped off for a more formal/traditional look.
What do you look for in a winter coat? Do you get something trendy at a great price or purchase an expensive staple that you'll have forever?

Unlike most women who lust after purses and shoes, I love winter coats. Odd, because in this part of the midwest, winter isn't usually as lethal as other parts of the country, ha! But, I do tend to buy at least one, usually more like two or three coats each year. It is a sickness..ha!

i am the WORST person in the world to ask about coats because i have a love affir with them and literally have TONS in my closet, because i like lots of color!! however, i did buy a DKNY one similar to this last year in black and LOVE it--great choice lady!
I have that length of coat myself after a QUEST for long trench like I had that disappeared..leaving me only with the zip in lining..been tempted to wear that!!! I like my button up black coat..but miss it being longer!!! Yours is very very stylish!!
