Denver Boot Camp

Friends, in an effort to get back in shape, I decided to start Denver Boot Camp along with a friend from work. Last night was our first class, and boy did I need this kick in the pants! During the warm up I was thinking surely we arrived at the Level 2 class and I may/may not puke. The good news is that Scott is super encouraging and reminded us not to over-exert and to know our limits. This is really helpful for someone who's had 5 ankle surgeries!

The one hour class flew by and we did mixes of cardio, weight lifting, and core exercises. When I walked down the steps leaving the gym I was sure my legs had transformed to jello, and I was nervous about how I was going to feel this morning. Good news- I feel great! Not only do I have more energy, but I'm super jazzed about attending class again tonight. If you're in the Denver area, I definitely recommend signing up!




Oh, and we're all really excited about Peyton Manning!
