We received great news yesterday from Focal Point that our highlights video is finished. Jon and Kelsey are so talented and were able to capture all of the special moments from our big day. The video can be viewed larger on their blog. Please leave a comment on their blog so we can win something special.

Side Note: For those of you who know me IRL, you'll know how exciting this is for me. The beginning of our video is strikingly reminiscent of my all time favorite wedding video from back in 2007-- with the Pastor's sermon playing over the opening shots. I never shared my obsession for this style because they're the professionals and I wanted Focal Point to use their creativity to the max. Somehow they knew it'd be the perfect fit for us. Pure bliss! <3

Vendor Spotlight: FocalPoint Cinematic

This was Mr. SE's favorite part of wedding planning: Videography. The man loves him some electronics! We met with Kelsey of FocalPoint Cinematic in December and instantly hit it off. It's really important to have vendors that share your values and vision for your wedding day. Kelsey was able to successfully field Mr. SE's questions about every type of aspect ratio, camera lens, and bluray feature.
And now we're booked! Jon and Kelsey are great and we completely trust them with capturing our wedding day

Did you hire a videographer? I've heard so many people say it was the best decision they made (along with having a day-of coordinator).

Portal Films
This is the most beautiful video I've ever seen in my life. Style Me Pretty first showed this video over a year ago, and I still haven't seen anything as perfect. I love how the pastor's message is in the background and the location is the bride's home. Super 8mm and 16mm are my favorite styles of film coverage, they give such a vintage feel to the film. I'm not able to get the film embedded into this post, but it's on the main page of their website- so just follow the link below.

I promise you won't be able to make it through without tears. If we could expand our wedding budget, hiring Portal Films would be one of the first things I'd do.

Still Motion *sigh*
this video is from the amazing team at Still Motion. Their videography is one of the best- if not THE best in the industry. All of their videos do a great job at conveying the personalities of the couple. See for yourself, enjoy!
