Bedding Conundrum

There's lots of challenges that you're sure to face when you decide to make the BIG move. Luckily, Mr. SE and I practically lived together during college and I actually did move in for 2 months last summer. We've worked out our preliminary kinks, and have a heads up as to what we're getting in to. One of the problems we face is the bathroom: how can he change contacts and manage go drench the whole counter? Doesn't it bother him that the tube is all sticky with toothpaste? Solution---> our new apartment has two sinks in the master bath! This should alleviate some stressors.

Currently Mr. SE has a kraft colored duvet and a light wood/chrome color palette in his bedroom. My bedroom is shabby chic and incredibly feminine. How can we blend these two decorating styles you ask? Answer: start new.

We're thinking of champagne, espresso, and taupe. They're warm neutrals, and we can add accent shades for some pops of color. The main issue we're working with right now is finding unisex bedding. It's either really feminine (floral) or really masculine (stripes). Is there anything in between? How did you incorporate both of your styles in decorating your place together? Here's two prints that I think we could work with. Both from Pottery Barn.

Are you really fixed on a print? Both of those could definitely work, but you could also go with the very unisex but still classic (IMHO) styles from restoration hardware - http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/category/category.jsp?navAction=jump&navCount=3&categoryId=cat780002 ... they're even 20% off right now!!
