Happy Easter, readers!
The Priscilla of Boston collection keeps catching my eye. Last month I did a post on their bridesmaids' collection- LOVE! I just wish you could order a paper catalogue- if anybody figures it out, let me know! POB is more of an upscale bridal designer, with gowns ranging from $2800+, so I was thrilled to discover they're going to debut a "cheaper" line. This new line is called Jewel and will feature gowns around the $1000 price range. A little better, but I'm still wondering if it's possible to find a beautiful gown under $1000. Don't worry, readers, I know we're all a little financially strapped right now and I'm committeed to finding you some deals!
Anywho- here's some sketches from the designer herself.

I'm super excited about this line, and can't wait to see these in person. I'm feeling a trip to their mega-store in Atlanta....

I actually JUST bought a gown from this collection a few weeks ago at the Priscilla store in Atlanta. It is a gorgeous line and it is the sister line to Platinum by Priscilla. Much like Reverie is the sister line to Melissa Sweet and Vineyard is the sister line to Priscilla of Boston. Anyway, the gowns in Jewel start at $1850 and go to $2150. This is my gown, http://www.priscillaofboston.com/dress_detail.jsp?gid=2000&sfid=51046&f= It will be here in about 4 months. Keep in mind while the dress was $1850, that is NOT inclusive of all alterations (a simple hem can be about $200) and any of the bustling a dress needs.
