This is my new obsession: Essie Perky Purple. I painted a little bit of my nail at Ulta yesterday and I LOVE IT! It's such a fun shade for summer. Most likely not for fingernails, but toenails definitely. Although, Ginnifer Goodwin looked super cute in "He's Not That Into You" with her purple nails. On another note, I've started thinking about how to get "involved" in Nashville. I have a couple girlfriends through Mr. SE's friends, but I'd really like to start making friends of my own. I know, it sounds like I'm 10 years old. But I think having female relationships are crucial to finding balance, especially if you're married or living with your significant other. How did you get "involved" and meet people?

i went to college here, so for me it was just a matter of keeping up with old friends. i've made some at work, but i like to keep personal and work completely separate.
finding friends is tough, but nashville is an insanely friendly place.
does your sorority have an alumnae chapter here? even if they don't, i'm sure you could find a sister here. one of the many perks of greek life - you'll always have a friend. :)
i don't know if i was any help at all but i wanted to try!
I know I'm a native, but I thought I would try and help anyway ;) I know there are some meetup groups for Nashville transplants you might try joining. I also met some really cool people on the TN board on the knot when I was planning my wedding (Amber Housley of the Sweet Life is one). If I think of anymore I'll let you know!
I'm totally with you on this! I moved here almost 2 years ago and I'm still working on it. It's hard when you work 8 hours a day because unlike when you were 10 years old, you aren't necessarily surrounded by those in your age group. We need to start some sort of group for Nashville Brides-to-be:)
