The Getaway

The wedding is over, the last dance has been danced. This is how I picture our romantic getaway.{the knot}

And this is how Mr. SE pictures us leaving...Well ladies, marriage is all about compromise and picking your battles. Looks like we'll be leaving in a Lamborghini- as long as there's one for rent in Nashville. Mr. SE's wishes for the wedding are as follows: Leaving in a Lambo, Catholic ceremony, and 8+ of his closest friends as groomsmen. Ceremony, check. Lambo, check. Groomsmen- we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

If I can't have a getaway in a romantic car, at least I can wear a romantic (and chic) dress! Here's one I'm loving right now.{nordstrom}

too funny. it's always interesting the things the boys are most concerned with. no matter how you make your exit, you'll be leaving MARRIED. no longer miss SE, but the mrs. SE. lovely, right?

and i love the dress.

haha... well maybe you can add your romantic touches to the lamborgini (what the crap, i'm sure that is not spelled right!) with some decor!

Don't worry we have 10 on each side my fiance had to have his 4 brothers, 4 high school friends, and 2 friends from college... he is even upset b/c he left out like 4 people but I had to draw the line somewhere!!
I think I am going to have to buy that dress- I need a white dress for my bachelorette party in two weeks!

If you get your way with the car, go direct to Reggie Slaughter. He's got a tricked out Packard for WAAAAAAAAY less than Matchless. I've got his number as there are planners who take a commission to hook you up. I am craft though. ;)

At least your fiance doesn't want to leave in a Deloreon (yes the car from Back to the Future)! I may have talked him out of it but that was his first choice for get-a-way vehicle. :)
