Wedding Hair: Inspiration

I'm fairly set about the look I'm going for with my hair. It doesn't stay curled when down (hello- it's humid in August), and I have a 5-head when it's slicked back. So a slightly messy, but contained, up-do that's not too up. Does that make sense? I'm pretty sure it does- as 85% of the blogs I read have this sort of look for their hair. I would cry if I looked like I was heading to prom (have you seen me? I already look 17 without the curly up-do). Please see Louise's inspiration board of what her hair should NOT look like. So smart! Here's some of my inspiration pictures...Please let me know if you have a recommendation of someone who can do hair like this in Nashville....{Mrs. Lemonade}

Love the hair. I'm going for the same kind of look. I hate all pictures of me when my hair is pulled up tightly but wearing the hair down is insane...talk about being hot on the dance floor. No one wants a sweaty bride picture! :)

Love Dave Barnes. Not many people have heard of him. He came and played at my college this past year. Totally awesome!

I have my trial next Saturday. I can let you know!

My friend Beth used Mary Elizabeth Long. I couldn't fit her into my budget, but she's good! You can see her work on ABG on my friend Beth. Her link is there too.

Let me know what you think!

Love the hair ideas! And I can't figure out why Sassy Bride brought up Dave Barnes, but I love him, too!

My hair was the low bun with loose curls, and I had it done by Tara Carver at Eyecandy Salon near Music Row. I love her.
