Rehearsal Dinner Dress: Shoe Edition

This is the dress I'm 95% wearing to our rehearsal dinner. I always knew I wanted to wear white, and the dress needed to reflect the formality of the event. I ordered 6 dresses from Nordstrom.com and this one was my favorite (and the least expensive!). But here's my problem- I don't know what kind of shoes to wear!

As you can see, the dress is all white except for a silver zipper in the back. The silver shoes that I own are more of a metallic silver, and don't go with the metal look of the zipper. I initially wanted to wear gold shoes, but the gold/silver issue troubles me. I need your advice! What shoes would you wear- and if they're online please send me a link.

Cute dress! I'm all about the white dress. What other colors are in your wedding? Aren't they peacock-type colors? If so I think it would be cool to think outside the box and get turquoise shoes!

I agree with Julianne, I would get a bright colored heel and accessorize with some matching jewelry. :) It will all stand out in the pictures!

I was going to say shoes with turquoise as well!! I think it is so timeless and something you can get a lot of use out of. Im wearing white as well. I think im going to go with gold shoes, gold and coral jewelry. When is your wedding??

Some fun bright colored shoes would be really cute, although nude shoes are really in this season and I think that would look great, especially since it wouldn't clash with the silver zipper on the back of the dress!! Dillards, Off Broadway, and Blush all have some great nude shoes right now and then you could add in color with your jewelry or a cute clutch!

Maybe a nude shoe? I of course am in love with the Nine West Bonfire if they happen to have your size anywhere.

I agree with above ladies. I would throw in some blue. Or go with nude shoes.

If you want to stick with white.

both cheaper on dillards website.

I would absolutely add some fun pop of color to that! But if you want to go gold, do it...that silver zipper is not going to be anything anyone will notice and think it's 'off' with the gold.

PS My daughter LOVES Maggiano's!

Pretty! And I completely agree - you can have such fun with a colored shoe and accessories!

Let your shoes stand out! I completely agree with these ladies! You should visit Off Broadway downtown and check out their endless color selections. I was in the other day and they have tons of brightly colored pumps, peep toes and sandals.

I agree with the other ladies and would go for a colorful shoe. If not, I don't think the zipper makes too much of a difference, so which ever pair you like more or feel better in will work.
